Towey's "Bayt" & Tackle was established June 2006 by Terry and Kaelea Runtz. The business is named after Terry's grandparents Irene & Bob Towey who owned the land that our business is situated on.  Towey's "Bayt" & Tackle was located on the shores of the Ottawa River on Towey's Bay which is also named after Terry's grandfather hence our business name. Terry's grandparents used this land as a beach for a long time. Many customers have shared stories about the times they used to spend here swimming on Towey's Bay. As a Child Terry used to bike from the farm in Lochwinoch to his grandparents and spent countless hours swimming and fishing off the dock.  Terry enjoyed every minute he spent with his grandparents and appreciated all they did for him and all they taught him so the least we could do is name the business after them.  

Towey's has now moved to Arnprior!!!!

We are very excited about our move and expanding our business.
